Run GCA’s Andy Hull and Family Host Turkey Day Fun Run

This year’s Annual Turkey Day fun run hosted by Run GCA’s own Andy Hull and his family had approximately 95 in attendance. The event raised $2,500 collected for The United Fund of Surry. A great time was had by all in attendance.

About the Charity: The United Fund supports 26 local charities ranging from several area rescue squads, boy and Girl Scout troups, meals on wheels and Surry Medical Ministries to name a few. 

Thanks to Surry Telephone, Surry TV, Piedmont Communicatins Services Inc and Carolina West Wireless for their sponsorship support. T-shirt sponsors were Johnson Granite, Edwards Jones-Doug Draughn, Farm Bureau-Tim Hamlin and Jam’n Tees. Chick-fil-A of Mount Airy was the beverage sponsor. Also thanks to Mount Airy Parks and Rec for the Granite City Greenway use.
