Justin Collins

Justin Collins began running in 2004 to get in better shape. He quickly grew to love the personal challenges and hard work involved in the sport of running. Justin has always had a curious mind and soon took to coaching others and in 2008, he was selected to coach for the Brooks Running I.D. Team and later the Brooks Fanatics. After the dissolve of the Brooks Fanatics Team, Justin founded Run GCA where he continues to help others. To date, Justin has helped over 20 people reach the Boston Marathon. With his own personal running, when all the checks were marked off his competitive bucket list, Justin's interest began to shift from competitive running to seeking more adventure, and just the pure joy and freedom of enjoying the outdoors with great friends. Justin currently lives and trains in the Foothills of NC with his wife and Race Team Member Meghan Collins and their 3 children.

Andy Hull

Andy began running in 2004 at the 5K on the Greenway by the influence of his wife Kelly.  In those days Andy says, "I would run the 5k and be sore as hell for days." Fast-forward to today and his running has grown from a 5k to 50k. Through his hard work and dedication Andy qualified for the Boston Marathon.  After completing the Boston Marathon, he says he needed something different to focus on, and the trails were calling.  Andy loves the sense of adventure and wonder of what's around the next corner or what view will be at the top of each peak.  Andy loves hanging out with friends and exploring nature has been a real change that has made running fun and exciting after over a decade in the sport.

Paul Denny

Paul was an occasional runner when he was younger and actually ran track for a year in middle school. He began to run as an adult as a means to cope with the loss of his cousin who was serving in the Army in Pakistan in 2007. As Paul ran more he thought I would give racing a try. As he moved from the 5k distance up to the full marathon, Paul found a love for the marathon distance and that quickly became his favorite distance to race. Not just the race itself but the weeks of training leading up to the marathon is what he truly enjoys. In his words,  "Knocking out training runs and feeling absolutely spent after a hard workout makes crossing the finish line on race day a more special experience." Paul checked off his ultimate bucket list item and will be running the Boston Marathon this year. After that, he hopes to do more group adventure events and begin moving into the ultra distances.

Mike Lawson

Mike started running about 3 years ago. A guy at work called him an old man so he thought lets see if he still has anything left in the tank. Mike started on roads of course, but he slowly moved toward the trails. Mike found it to be a lot more fun, in his own words,  "I've always been a woodsy kind of person so it just fit." Mike enjoys the trial community as he feels it is a lot more chill and about just completing the run/race vs competitive racing.
